Flavor of India in Springfield

This restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside looks great. Their food is fenominal, and the service was great. Being a little out of the way, it didn't seem like they had a ton of customers, and the food was pricey, but delicious. Overall, I don't think this is a place I would go to every day, but for a nicer occasion, or if I just want really delicious food, I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list.

Stopped while driving through Springfield. It was about 10 minutes from the highway but worth the drive. The food was delicious! We had the veggie sampler, non- veggie sampler, tandoori chicken and garlic naan. I wanted some different dishes with the veggie sampler and the substitutions were no problem. Spice was on a scale from 0-6 and food was perfectly seasoned. We ate the food so sorry no pics!

Authentic Punjab food. Family owned I guess. Really liked it.

We have been going there for nearly 8 years. The food is consistently delicious, very affordable and outstanding service. Words are not adequate to express how much I recommend this place. Go and check it out!

Great food and service

Really delicious Indian food at fair prices. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Fast and friendly service too. The paneer saag is my favorite dish. It is delicious.

Great Indian cuisine. Have ordered take out several times. Loved the dal mahkani, naan, raita. The chicken briyani was good, only complaint is some of the pieces were a bit dry, but would order again. Definitely worth a try!

Always love coming here. Our favorite indian restaurant to dine at and lucky for us it's within driving distance.

Not as flavorful. First time and was a bit slow to take order. However I have been told this is better than gateway to India so choose wisely. Will visit again and update accordingly.

My in laws love this place but I am not a big fan. Dishes are either too bland or too sweet or too spicy for my family. Otherwise clean, comfortable and friendly - just not my preference.

Not a lot of flavor from spices in their dishes on the lunch buffet, and the sauces were quite watery and not thick enough. Not bad, per se, but not exactly good. Seriously disappointed.

Good Food and great flavor at a reasonable price. My only complaint is it would be awesome if there was just a little bit more variety. But the food was delicious.

I have never been one that experiments with food as i am a slightly picky eater. But my boyfriend introduced me to this place and i crave it now. They are so friendly and accommodating there and they are excellent with my one year old. Highly recommended!!!

I ordered food it’s the worst experience ever. It’s not even india food. Don’t ruin Indian food name with this kind of food. The food smells and never ever order or take a chance from this place. If you can’t cook fried rice remove it from menu. All fake reviews for sure.

Seemed like it might be a family run restaurant. Clean, need and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed the buffet offerings. Good, prompt and courteous service. Not very large dining area but probably can accommodate small to moderate sized groups.

This place is a great restaurant all around. The food is excellent very flavorful Butter Chicken is amazing as is the Biryani. The lunch buffet is a great way to try different dishes.Very clean and the staff is awsome

SO GOOD! We have been several times and everything we've had was delicious. Always great to have a place with good vegetarian options. Very reasonable prices (cheaper than Gateway to India) and food is better. They have a good lunch buffet as well. Service is ok and it is clean. Decor and booths are a bit dated.

Great Indian treats! Everything at lunch was exceptionally fresh and tasty, nicely spiced and hot! Will eat here again for sure, affordable and wonderful service.

A nice little Indian food place. We had the lunch buffet and the taste of all the food we tried was excellent. Pricing was appropriate and the staff were friendly and prompt. Selection was adequate, comprising around 12 main items, but could always be better.Parking was easy and it's conveniently located just off Wabash. I will definitely be eating there again!

I ordered takeout for the first time from this restaurant, and it was amazing! The level of spice is perfect, and they were timely in getting my order together.

Delicious food! I love that you can choose how spicy you would like your food to be from a 6 point scale. Be careful though, it gets really spicy /hot towards the top. Our kids loved the fried Naan and the garlic Naan.

Very Yummy food, fair price and friendly service

All of the food was delicious!!! The staff is extremely curteous and ready to help with suggestions. My favorite is the Tikka masala while my husband loves the goat (or lamb) curry.

Highly recommend! If you're new to Indian cuisine be sure to ease in to how spicy your meal is. Would suggest a 3 on a scale of 1-6. Always get an order of naan with anything. More experienced diners will not be disappointed! Awesome flavor. One order is enough for two people. The spice is flavorful without overwhelming the other ingredients. I cannot say it enough: great food!

Excellent! Warm and friendly environment. Buffet had many authentic and delicious dishes. Naan made and brought around to tables still warm - loved it!

Lot of vegeterian options, fresh food. Lives up to its name of 'Flavor of India'

Food was fresh and delicious. We were served quickly with attentive service. Food is spiced from 0-6 on a scale. I am usually a medium spice person and a 3 was just about where I liked it, but am glad I didn’t go higher. Glad they kept my water refilled The Who time. Chicken tandoori was delicious.

Ordered veg biryani with medium spicy but ended with spicy. Not able to eat, they tried to fix it but still spicy. so mixed lot of raita to eat. So it became curd rice. :(

I’d have given zero if I had that option. We stopped by this place on the way back home last night. We ordered chicken fried rice and chilly fish fry. The food tasted really bad. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants in USA but this one was a disappointment. Felt like the worst food we ever had in our life. We stopped here while we were very hungry after a long drive but no words to describe the taste and quality of the food.

Excellent food, resturant decor and customer service. We love their vegetable qorma and chicken tandoori and have become regulars! They have an excellent lunch buffet starting 11am we often go to. Highly recommend

Good location and superb food..Owner of rhe restaurant come out to welcome us and see if everything is fine..Butter chicken and mix grill was too good with freehly baked tandoor nam and roti.

Good and delicious food, I have came for my veg brunch, they served poori, naan, deal curry, panner, veg coorma, Gulabjam, and many more veg varieties are there with yummy taste and neatly maintenance with good staff.
